DUBLIN COMMUNITY BANDS
ECSO is a member of Dublin Community Bands (DCB), a tax-exempt organization formed in 2010. DCB is a collection of performing groups that includes the Dublin Cornet Band, the Dublin Silver Band and the Dublin Wind Symphony. DCB has received public funding from the City of Dublin and the Dublin Arts Council, as well as private contributions.

Emerald City Ballroom is Columbus’ Home For Ballroom Dancing!
No matter how you wish to enjoy your new hobby of partner dancing, Emerald City Ballroom is for you, regardless of your goals, budget, or experience level.
Private Lessons with our certified dance instructors are the fastest and most thorough way for you to learn how to dance.
Group classes are excellent for those who love the sense of community and learning with others,who are at the same level.
The magic of Emerald City Ballroom is our Friday and Saturday evening dance parties, where you get to put your new moves to practice. We host weekly parties to recorded music with all your ballroom, Latin, and swing style dance favorites, as well as a few line dances and possibly a two step too. We also host a variety of formal events throughout the year, some themed parties, and live big bands too!
Our facility is incredible. Huge dance floor with cocktail table seating surrounding the entire floor. Check ourevent calendar for additional info on group classes and parties. Our events are open to the public and frequented by dancers from the entire Central Ohio dancing community.

In 2011, ECO moved under the umbrella of Dublin Community Bands and updated the name to Emerald City Swing Orchestra (ECSO).
Emerald City Ballroom (ECB) is a full service dance studio and event center. We host Columbus' only "Studio Neutral" events on Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights. Our dance events are open to all dancers. Join ECSO for a night of dancing at the Emerald City Ballroom the second Friday of every month!

Vaughn Wiester's "Famous Jazz Orchestra" is made up of 22 very talented professional musicians that have come together every Monday evening on a semi-informal basis for the last twenty (20) years to share their love of their music by "reading" the best Big Band Charts from the last 50 years. For us "big band" fans, this is an opportunity to hear the sounds of Woody Herman, Stan Kenton, Duke Ellington and all the great bands, without ever leaving Columbus.
A Touch of Brass is a 20-piece band, including 2 vocalists, featuring some of the most exciting and talented musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area.
